December 1 is World AIDS Day. WAD started in 1988 to commemorate those who have lost their lives due to HIV/AIDS. Today, people who are affected by or living with HIV/AIDS are living long, happy, and healthy lives. However, Memphis still has much progress to be made.
Memphis currently ranks third in the nation for HIV transmissions and first for new AIDS diagnoses. Working together with our coalition partners, we are on a mission to change those numbers for the better.
